But we DO know that all he’s ever done is make the most of whatever opportunities he’s been given. He’s an undrafted guy who has built a good career out of making the most out of his chances. In other words, he’s the ANTI AD Mitchell, who does nothing but fuck up every opportunity he gets. Today was a golden opportunity for Mitchell and he more or less used that opportunity to single handedly lose the damn game. So until I see otherwise, give Dulin a shot and shoot Mitchell out of a god damned cannon. I’d bet my left nut he’d do better than Mitchell. |

Like I said, I have no problem with Dulin playing over Mitchell ...... in fact, I bumped the thread on the main board about hism calling attention to himself for making a big deal about being drafted behind polayewrs which he thought that he was superior to. http://www.coltfreaks.com/forum/show...=180407&page=2 But you said that Dulin would never make a play like that, and that play that you were referring to (the horrible holding call) happens often. It's a stupid play, and it makes fans of the team feel like punching their TV sets, but it's one that occurs almost as often as a defense falling for a hard-count on a crucial 4th down, or a player running into the punter when his teams very badly needs the ball back ...... it happens, and it isn't rare. Regarding dropping the ball at the 1/2-yardline, Jonathan Taylor almost did it again last week against the Titans ...... the play is at the 9:30 mark. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lm3VaoeYVb4 I would presume that Taylor, of all people, wouldn't dream of ever coming close to doing something like that again ...... but he did. Football players in general are not necessarily the brightest bunch of people when it comes to their profession. I get your anger and frustration about Micthell costing us the game today, but as I stated in the thread that I started last year about Taylor for dropping the ball at the goal-line, this shit is going to happen again, and again, and again. The best that you can hope for is that it happens to your team lesser rather than more frequently. o

The defense had issues today but I still prefer Anarumo to Gus Bradley’s defense where the offense would literally call the play the defense was running.

Also, the Jags and Texans both won today so we’re now tied for 1st in the division with Jacksonville, with Houston 2 games back.

The Colts beat themselves today. They easily could've won this game if they didn't make unforced errors that cost them the game. Mitchell dropping the ball, the hold on the Taylor TD run, Mehki Blackmon tripping over his own feet in coverage on the game losing TD, giving up a 96 yard TD drive in the last 2 minutes of the first half. These are things you just can't do against a good team. That's the bad part of this.
The good part of this, IMO, is that the Colts showed today that they're capable of beating anybody even when they don't play their best game. |

To add some fuel to the fire - apparently we only had 10 players on the field on the Atwell's 88 yard TD
