Going to be a tough one. Maybe keep it close & have a shot at the end.

Agreed. Especially with our injuries. Our pass rush will have to be much better than it has in the first 3 games to give us a chance.

Not feeling very good about this one but I’ll pick with my heart.
Hilton registers a sack and turnover but also gets abused a bit.
Colts 23 Rams 17

The most idiotic call in the world just occurred.

The Vikings were deep in their own territory, down by 10 points with a little more than 3 minutes left to play. The Vikings had 1 timeout, plus the 2-minute warning left. A broken coverage allowed them to get an 81-yard pass play all the way down to the Steeler's 1-yardline ...... but he was tackled i9n-bounds at the one-yardline, which kept the clock running.

So ...... you're down by 10 points with a little less than 3 minutes to play at the opponent's 1-yardline, and the clock is running. A pass-play is a no-brainer, right ??? Or at least spike the ball to stop the clock, THEN you might gamble with a running play from the 1-yardline, right ??? Wrong !!! The Vikings called a running play and were tackled in-bounds, allowing a precious 30 additional seconds to run off the clock. The Vikings eventually scored a TD on 4th down, but by that time the clock was down to just over 2 minutes to play.

All of this forced the Vikings to try an on-side kick, which failed. They still got the ball back because of the fact that they had one timeout and the 2-minute warning left, but they were stuck deep in their own territory with no timeouts left. If the Vikings had called a pass-play or just spiked the ball when the clock was running on 1st down, they would not have to have tried the onside kick, and might have gotten better field position with more time on the clock.

The Vikings still have a chance to win, but they could have had a considerably better chance to win if they had not made that awful call.

I also have a bad feeling about this game but I think it is residual from spending the last 10 years rooting for this team. I'm hoping I am rooting for a different type team with a different mindset this year. Won't get a final answer today but will be a big piece in letting us know exactly who we are rooting for this year. Fingers crossed

Dart had to leave the game to get checked, and Russ is immediately sacked, lol.

Bad decision by Jones there.
