I agree with your sentiment, but he had one year left on the contract we traded for, so he was not going to be re-signed this year.

I would be looking forward to the draft. Because we would likely run JT into the ground. He would get hurt. Then Wentz would have to carry the team which is really what he wants to do. Throw and run himself 50 times a game. Bury the team in a hole then try heroics to dig them out.
