agree. the game itself is stupid. but players get paid for it, get to go to hawaii, sometimes affects pay/bonuses/etc.

The game has not been based in Hawaii for the last few years. This year will be the third year that the game will be played in Orlando, FL.

It's pretty fucked up... the NATIONAL radio pundits, which are generally pretty well in touch with what is actually happening- are showering him with praise. I heard some analysis last night, I think it was on FOX, they started running down the Maniac's stats and were saying "this is a season the NFL has never seen before, not just from a rookie, from a defensive football player". He is getting that kind of praise from those folks but the PB voters don't see it??? WHAT?

I do think the 3/4 scheme for the team vs 4/3 had an impact, but still, wake up and smell the ass morons- dude is dominating and he is now showing up in "impact" moments- that's not a DROY thing, that's a superstar thing!

How did Clowney get it over Leonard? Leonard has one less sack and over 100 more tackles. More passes defended. More forced fumbles.

Clowney is a good player but he's not a superstar. He is living off the fame of one great TFL his sophomore year in college.

If you watch the embedded video, the reason the Colts are 7-1 since Week 7 becomes very clear: the Colts defense leads the league in points allowed over that timeframe. Leonard is the clear leader of this unit. If he doesn't win DROY, it's a travesty. He should be a serious contender for DPOY.
