I've seen multiple mocks send Settle to the Colts, but I'm not sure he's a scheme fit now that they're in a 4 man front.

He's not anywhere close to a scheme fit. He's a 2 gap NT with short arms IIRC. Basically the opposite of what the Colts would look for.

Agree Settle is completely the wrong type of player for this defense, although if available and health concerns are cleared then Maurice Hurst is the absolute perfect fit for this defense. His biggest strength is his first step quickness and his ability to get into the backfield up the middle on a consistent basis causing mayhem.

No reason to send Hankins packing and then draft Settle.

36 and 37 - Williams or Hernandez with one pick, Landry/Hurst/Rasheem Griffin/Josh Jackson with the other

49 - BJ Hill? Malik Jefferson? Or one of the above if he's still there.

67 - Shaqueem Griffin? Nick Chubb? John Kelly?

Why not two defenders at 36 & 37? I'm fine with Mewhort/Slausen.

Zierlein mocks Landry, Jackson, and Leonard to the Colts in round 2. That would be a very nice haul.

IMO #49 may be a bit high for Leonard, but if Ballard could manage to get Landry and Jackson then he might be able to gamble a tiny bit with his next pick. I'd personally prefer Jefferson due to his better size, but he may already be gone by #49. And heaven knows the Colts need LBs.....all over the field.

I want to get Miami and NE in a bidding war for #37 (& M. Rudolph), if only to mess with Big Bad Billy.

Because just picking Nelson at 6 doesn't fix the right side of the OL. Mewhort is unreliable, Slauson is old. If they take two great defenders that's fine but not shoring up the whole OL when there are great prospects available and you already burned the 6th overall on the position group seems like a costly half measure.

Starting guards can be found on Day 3. Calling drafting Nelson a half measure is a kindness to Ballard, but defense needs to rule the day today.
