The 49ers are releasing DE Kemoko Turay, per source. Turay had 5.5 sacks for the Colts last year, five-year veteran.

Turay decided to stay with the 49'ers and signed to their practice squad.

Let's see how long he stays there before a team poaches him for their active roster.

The Browns are signing veteran OL Joe Haeg, source says. With RT Jack Conklin working his way back from knee surgery, Haeg provides depth at tackle and he can play guard, too. Haeg met with the Raiders last week but heads to Cleveland instead.

I really liked Haeg. Ballard obviously not so much. Until he proves otherwise I’m going to believe in Ballards ability to scout offensive lineman. Only big mistake was Fisher. Ballard made a bet on an injury and lost. Like Wentz he moved on, I like that.

I think Fisher was Ballard's homer pickup as Wentz was to Reich.

I had had thoughts that we should have kept Turay instead of Banogu. With Turay being cut by SF once again Ballard seems to know more than me. Imagine that!
