How many picks spent on DE? 6-7? Defense doesn’t work if you can’t rush the passer with the front four. And they have a probowl tackle getting double teamed every play. So they are getting single blocked every play. The Cowboys who run the same scheme found two guys more effective this last draft alone.

Perhaps the "Flus" will attract a head coach consideration and depart without us having help him to the door and not letting it hit him on the way out. One can hope I suppose.

no defense is going to succeed without a decent pass rush. we are a zone team. we can be creative with that but we need the players to execute and we don't have the players. ballard has fucked that up.
