The Steelers beat the Colts on their homefield in Indianapolis, have the same overall record as the Colts (5-4), and are riding a 4-game winning streak compared to the Colts' 2-game losing streak ........ but ESPN still has the Colts ranked ahead of them in this week's power rankings. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/...game-left-team I believe that the power ranking reflect whom they think the better teams are at that time, not necessarily whom is more deserving of being regarded as more accomplished ........ and subsequently, I think that an argument can be made that the Chiefs were better than the Colts were 2 weeks ago (in spite of the Colts' win over them in Missouri), and that the Colts are still a little better than the Steelers are now (in spite of their win over the Colts in Indiana, plus the fact that they are riding a 4-game winning streak.) o

The Colts are 17th and 18th in two other power rankings.

I agree with this. Is the NFL that bad? I don't get to watch the games but I'm pissed about the Dolphin loss.

This is as close to parity as I can recall.

Purely based on the fact that we are 5-4 should indicate we are marginally above average, so ought to be in the 13-16 range i would have thought.

sure, based purely on that. but when you think about other things like we lost to the shitty dolphins, at home, then we get ranked below many of the other 5-4 teams
