I read that it's the same place JT went (I presume after his ankle surgery in early '23).

They could end his season at any point, but given the situation and what stem cells do, seems like whatever the issue, it boils down to inflammation. Like a strain or joint/nerve/disc irritation... shit's swelling up... stem cells would speed up the recovery.

That's where my caveman brain goes at least.
