Fine idea but if BPA brings us a WR in the 1st round, then it is a failure.

He said he wasn't going crazy in FA and no one on here believed him. Now he says upfront it will be BPA and no one believes him.
I see a melt down on the horizon

I think when GMs and Coaches talk about BPA there is a huge caveat. It is based on the draft board they have created and that it is somewhat going to be weighted to the team's needs based on the energy expended scouting players.

He did set a franchise record for most free agents signed in an offseason. He didn't go mostly big ticket though, I agree.

There really wasn't a "big ticket" to choose from. If there had been a stronger class he likely would've gone after the better players. Even after all the waiting he did end up with one of the biggest signings of the off-season.

BPA would be OJ Howard. Which wouldn't be all bad I guess. He will likely be an all-pro.
