He's pointing out that even the most highly respected head coaches make bad decisions with a fairly regular frequency. Even Belicheat makes bad decisions fairly regularly, but his cheating often covers for them.

Previous HC experience and did a better job than McDaniels. Not saying he did great; just better than McDaniels.

Also, he managed to take Arians' boom or bust get the QB killed offense and turn it into one of the best in football. He did channel his inner Chud on a couple of 4th down play calls today, so I guess he has that going against him.

The throwback pass should have worked. It was a great call, just a horrible throw. I wouldn't criticize him for that.

A TJ Green like effort by the corner last them that game. Its not on Payton.

Just doubling down on stupidity. Taking Pagano over McDaniels under any circumstances is just dumb.

Its been years since he coached Denver. He was young. I am betting he learned a few things the first time around and will change.
