Because it was a clean, hard, legal hit.

With all of the rules changes that are stacking the deck against defensive players, fans are conditioning themselves into thinking any time that a receiver goes down from contact that it's a penalty.

He hit him immediately after he touched the ball, which is legal.

If that were a Colts defender making the same exact play, I doubt that you would be up in arms as to why he wasn't called for a penalty. There was no complaint on the Colts' sidelines about that hit.
