They confirmed post-game that it was a 5-man protection. Giddens was supposed to run the flat and be the hot guy if pressure came. Neither him or Warren were assigned to chip anybody on that particular call.
AR said he thought the Nickel was where the pressure might come from, so he never looked right.
Luckily there was no break or tear. He'll be sore, but he's not out. He said he couldn't squeeze right away, but after a few plays, he was ready to go back out.
