In hundreds of scenarios I've run, I've never seen a scenario in which one of those options was not available.
Yeah, someone is going to be there. I’m wondering will they spend a first on a lb? Would be nice to have a guy who can chase down these mobile QBs. I really like Schwesinger in the second if we don’t go Campbell.

I forgot about Harmon, he is a great disrupter. I always wonder what kind of athletes these nose tackles would be if they lost weight. Guy is crazy strong.omar Norman Lott is also a later round DT who is a terror on the inside. I was kinda hoping for him.

So in my opinion the depth is still reasonably ok in relation to recent drafts.
Time will tell. I just think the depth is not as good as other years.

Which, if true, probably makes the argument for trading back stronger.

Using the DraftTek trade value chart (to just grab one)...

Colts #14 overall = 1,100 points (1st round)
Colts #117 overall = 60 points (4th round)
1,160 points total

Houston # 25 overall = 720 points (1st round)
Houston # 58 overall = 320 points (2nd round)
Houston # 89 overall = 145 points (3rd round)
1,185 points total

So, to trade down in the 1st round 11 spots, you pick up an extra 2nd round and 3rd round for the sacrifice of a 4th round pick.

One extra quality pick in the top 100 if there really are only 15 or so 1st round talent guys in this year's draft and your guy is gone.

It’s shallow at the top. I think there are five blue chippers. Ten to about 100 are about the same type of players. No one will want to trade up. Like last year no one wanted to trade down.

After careful film review, I prefer Colston Loveland over Tyler Warren.

I still like Warren, but I've also watched more and more of Loveland and I would be stoked to have either one.

I also don't think Warren will be there... of course Loveland is apparently rising, too.

If Ballard doesn't get one of either Loveland or Warren, then he should be terminated and escorted from the complex immediately!
