The Food Service and Nutrition both improved.

It was one category in 2023 (Food Service/Nutrition), and it was a D.

It was broken up into 2 categories in 2025. "Nutritionist / Dietician" got a B+, and "Food/Dining Area" got a C.



The "Team Travel" category got an F in 2023, and a D+ in 2025, although I don't even know what that category means ...... you get on a plane to travel to the city of the opposing team's stadium, and if the plane doesn't crash and kill everybody, everybody's happy.

I'm generally not an "old school" type of fan who often points out how much better the game was back in the 50's and 60's (it was different, it wasn't necessarily better), but somebody like Vince Lombardi would probably prefer the airplane stewardesses to be complete bitches to his players to put them in an angry, hostile, and competitive frame of mind for a sport as brutal as football is ...... if the stewardesses were total cunts to his players, and the players subsequently graded the air travel service with an "F", Lombardi probably would have said, "Good job, women ...... thank you very much."

I was thinking about the looks more than the level of service. However, Deshawn Watson and Justin Tucker probably would want them to provide a full service.

The Colts play in Indianapolis, in the Midwest. They play in Europe once every 8 years. So other than that, their longest plane is ride about 2 and-a-half to 3 hours. How many "amenities" do you need ??? Gatorade and some food ??? If you eat before you get on the plane, you don't even need that.


Again, I'm not a proponent of the proverbial "good old days" when people walked barefoot in the snow for 5 miles to get to school every day, but I think that we've gone to the other absurd extreme with some of this nonsense.

Fact: The distance between airplane seats, as well as the width and comfort of those seats has declined significantly since 1965.

Fact: The average height and weight of NFL players has increased significantly since 1965.

When you combine these fact of the two eras it's obvious that the players in 1965 were flying in more comfort than the players today.
