Because the virus mutates, you can catch it more than once, so I doubt it would get them a pass

If this nation cant get its shit together, this virus will become chronic like the seasonal flu. It wont go away unless we crush it under the heel of mass vaccination

We eliminated small pox and polio, and are very close to eliminating mumps, meseals, and rubella. This can be done, with or without the anti vaxers. Artificial selection will remove the people who rely on horse medicine

COVID-19 is more comparable to the flu than it is small pox and polio. It’s not going anywhere.

It has to do with the rate of mutations between them. Small pox and polio are relatively stable so once a vaccine is made it works. Flu and COVID mutate into new strains continuously. This is most likely with us long term.

They just activated Wentz, Kelly, and Pascal from the Covid list.

To open up these 3 roster spots, the Colts placed WR TY Hilton, WR Dezmon Patmon and QB Sam Ehlinger on the IR.

Aren't they sidelined for 5 days (ie two more days), or can they be activated from the list whenever but still have to sit out another couple days.

Keefer indicated that a few vaccine hesitant players recently decided to get the shot(s). Not sure if it was spurred when Fisher / Nelson went on the COVID reserve list or when Wentz / Kelly / Pascal went on the list. Those moves showed that it was rather easy to miss 5 days of work just by being a close contact with someone who was infected.

Mentioned this on the air with Kevin Bowen and Gregg Doyel this morning: I'd expect the Colts vaccination rate to climb in the coming days/weeks. Have heard a handful of players have decided to get the shot. Before you ask, I don't have names.
