There's a solid TE and two athletic pass rushers coming from Notre Dame this year. People are reading too much into the Colts going to ND's pro day with Eichenberg.

maybe. I bet he was on their list to check out when there as he may be an option if we push OT off to second round. Plus why wouldnt they go to ND for pro day as its so close.

I don’t see how they can push it off, there’s nothing more important right now they can’t risk that for a TE or a situational pass rusher

I agree I am hoping they nail down a 10 year left tackle with 21. But if there is a DE there they love I could see ballard waiting for Rd 2 to grab a LT since its supposed to be a deep class. Maybe even a move up a bit in the second to grab someone.

I just feel like you can generate a pass rush, solidify that O line is crucial here

IMO the board at 21 is:

1) Rashawn Slater (likely won't be there)
2) Teven Jenkins
3) Christian Darrisaw (likely won't be there)
4) Azeez Ojulari
5) Jaelan Phillips (if your medical team clears you to draft him)
6) Trade Down

I don't like Darrisaw's tape. He fears the speed rush and immediately kicks out to his left.

He'll get beat inside a lot doing the in the NFL.

I can actually see them go CB. I don’t see anyone at DE they would pick over a LT. But I can see Jaycee Horn or Greg Newsome being picked over a LT.

I can't see Ballard drafting Jaycee Horn. Maybe Newsome, but not over any of the 5 names I posted earlier. Remember Ballard is a big believer in football being won in the trenches.

Plus Horn is not a willing tackler in the running game.
