Good win today, but we're still pretty inconsistent. Jekyll and Hyde defense. Off to work. Later freaks

The defense did good job of making tackles in bounds on that final drive to limit the Texans' choices ...... in fact, I think that they got screwed by the refs on one play on that final drive when they ruled the Texans player out of bounds when he was down in bounds.

So yes, we are very fortunate that the Texans fumbled at the two yard-line at the end of the game for the 2nd time this season ...... but the defense also did a relatively good job inside the red zone today. The Texans made 4 trips inside the red zone and came away with 2 Field Goals, 1 Touchdown, and 1 fumble.

Also, the Texans had no timeouts left on that final play. Even if the runner had not fumbled, the clock would have been running, and the Texans might have had a chance to spike the ball and get one more play off before the clock ran out. I think that the chances that they would have scored a TD had the runner not fumbled would have been about 50/50.

Meanwhile, the Jets may be giving the Jags Trevor Lawrence.

Hell of a game, great atmosphere even with less fans at the end it was getting rowdy in there

I love it that the offense is unpredictable and Rivers is playing good ball right now.
