I hope you're wrong, but I could see it. After the Bears, it's Mayfield, Burrow, Stafford, and Jackson. 3 consecutive former #1 overall picks and the reigning NFL MVP. That run should be telling.

After Jackson, perhaps we'll see.

But going up against the Bears, and then Mayfield, Burrow, and Stafford could put this defense so far ahead of others that they will be uncatchable.

Mayfield will struggle against an unfamiliar team, as he seems to most of the time. Burrow will be a good one, but he's a rookie, and still learning. Stafford has two reliable weapons, and he could go either way. None of them are even as mobile as Darnold though, and I see Indy teeing off on them in the pocket.

Jackson though. Not really looking forward to that one.

Jackson will murder this defense.

He didn't murder the Chiefs defense. The Colts are similar. Better LBs, worse DBs (only because of Mathieu).
