Well, at least Hoyer looked serviceable. Refs tried to fuck us, then unfuck us. Exciting game to watch, laugh at the ridiculousness and finally cry at the missed opportunity. That’s good football!

Hoyer has cement feet. I'd rather roll with Kelly as the backup. Let him develop & see what he has.

I definitely agree, but I was still surprised at how well he played. I expected a sack every other play or nothing but runs.

This is true.

AV has to go though.

Too well respected at this point in the season. We will let him finish the race at least.

Plus I doubt that there is anyone on the street any better. Ask NE. They are on kicker #2 after losing Ghost.

It’s obviously mental now. That explains drilling the 55 yarders and missing the 35 yarders.

He’s not coming completely out of this, not at his age.

It it's not just about AV. He has hurt us but we are letting every team we play be close. This is an ok team, that's it. When it always seems to come down to your field goal kicker you've got issues. Is there anybody who is playing better than they did last year? Nobody seems to have made the jump. We lack play makers on defense and offense. Still half a season left so maybe we can turn it around. Doubtful

I will re-state what I said in the Trade Deadline thread. Ballard saw that we are not as close to competing for a SB win this year, so he didn't pull the trigger on any trades.
