Same here. They seem like low percentage plays too, though I have no stats to back that up with.

Is he unreliable though? Every game? Yes he drops some balls, he also has had a lot of big plays. He isn't this bad consistently, if he was he would be gone, but we knew it could happen. We all knew this going in. Reich likes the big-play ability, we talked about it a lot in the offseason. Had the same discussion about Funchess. Ebron did do well last year and made the pro-bowl. To me Luck throws a more catchable ball. Brisset needs to ease up on that cannon at times. If Brisset is gonna gun it he needs to hit them in the chest like he just did to Rogers.

Doyle is great, but doesn't have the explosiveness and big-play ability. To me they complement each other very well.

He does need to catch it. But Brisset can ease up on those passes a little. Ebron doesn't have great hands, that's just the reality. Not every receiver is the same. That's why he didn't work out in Detroit with Stafford. Stafford has a cannon too but not as much touch. Luck was able to utilize Ebron and max him out. To me great QB's adjust to the talent around them and know how to get the best out of them.

Raiders do exactly what we needed them to do to get us the ball back quick: false start and start the drive at 1st and 15.

Then we let them rip-off a 16 yard.
