if he goes in the 4th, then whoever makes that pick gets the steal of the draft IMO.
I guess we'll see when they play the games.

I can see GMs being very leery about drafting a one handed player with a high pick, even though he looks great.

I'm not very good at making those kinds of comparisons. Instead I'll refer you to some tape.
Here he is single handedly wrecking Auburn in the Peach Bowl:

(the entire game is basically a Shaquem Griffin highlight reel)

Some actual highlight reels:

I keep thinking of Jaylon Smith but Smith was better.

Abbott was quite the pitcher, too.

To me, Abbott's greatest legacy was what happened at the end of his career in 1999.

Abbott was pitching horribly that season, and he retired shortly afterward ........ and that was ALL that the fans and the sportswriters were talking about. Brewers fans (and their local sportswriters) were annoyed that Abbott was consistently getting shelled, and were calling for him to retire.

When Abbott was a rookie in 1989, everybody was talking about the fact that he only had one arm, and were wondering if the Angels were using him as publicity similar to when Pete Gray played for the St. Louis Browns in 1945. But he pitched effectively for almost a decade in the Major Leagues, and by the time that he retired nobody was talking about (or cared about) the fact that he only had one arm ........ they were treating him just like any other pitcher who was coming upon hard times at the end of his career. And to me, THAT is an outstanding legacy.
