I think you nailed it

After seeing Seattle lose because of no running game, I wonder what they'd be willing to give up for JT? We suck, and are going no where and JT deserves better.

Saw a couple articles popping up yesterday talking about JT being a prime target for a move. Ballard won't do it. Fucker is the type of guy that if he's going to suffer, EVERYONE else is going to as well. He knows he is cooked and he has to find another job, he won't do shit to help the next guy.

So, he's trashed this thing with 10 years of neglect and we'll still be in decay for 2-3 years after he leaves because the next guy has to figure out how to jettison old big dollar dudes that aren't going to get much in return. I think he has set us up for 4-5 years of misery from the time he is finally shit canned. I can easily see us being a 3-4-5 win team consistently until 2030. Man, that is nasty to say, 2030 could be the next time we are competitive.

Man, I would love for ANYONE that has been even casually standing up for him over the last few years to step forward and offer their rah rah speech now. We are fucked because of this clown.

How exactly do you know this ???

What exactly are your sources which assert that Ballard has this kind of vindictive behavior, and that he necessarily acts on that vindictiveness ???

Ummmm I assume given that you are about the most historically knowledgeable Colts fan I have ever seen, you have watched him speak behind the mic? If so, I rest my case.

Yes, I have seen him speak before a microphone.

Give me specific examples that verify your claim that Chris Ballard is necessarily vindictive, and that he necessarily is going to go out of his way to be vindictive towards the team and its players.

And if this indeed true, if you do have credible sources that Chris Ballard is necessarily this vindictive, mean-spirited character that you claim to know for a fact, why do you suppose that the owner of the team, Carlie Irsay-Gordon, would not immediately fire such a reprehensible, untrustworthy person as her team's GM ??? I've seen her speak before a microphone, and I also see that she is the only team owner in the NFL who literally uses a headset and stands on the sidelines during the team's games......she does not impress me as the type of passive weakling that would put up with that nonsense from a person whom she is empolying.

My guess, there's a tape. I have no sources, no whisper in my ear from a closely related person, just trying to be logical. The man sucks, he absolutely sucks at what he does. He is incredibly arrogant and full of himself. She holds the keys to a multi-billion dollar asset. Just trying to apply logic to arrive at why a person with her wealth and power would keep around an employee that sucks as bad as he sucks. Under nearly all scenarios someone as shitty as he is would be told to kick rocks. He hasn't been so I try to figure out why. My rationale, a tape.

So there's my theory. You won't like it, but that's fine, you don't have to.

It's not a matter of whether or not I like your theory.

You didn't say that it was a theory. You didn't preface your statement with "I believe that Chris Ballard, etc" ...... you stated it as fact, and when I questioned you about it you doubled down on your claim and rhetorically asked me if I had ever seen him speak before a microphone, as though it's common knowledge that your assertion that Chris Ballard was a conniving, vindictive character who will necessarily do everything that he can to bring people down with him.

If you are now backing up and saying that it's just a theory of yours, fine. You believe that Chris Ballard is a vindictive little prick. He may be a vindictive little prick.....but that's not what you said in the first place, and that was not your first response to my question when I asked you about it.

If there were a tape, Ballard will be here until you and I are dead, unless he retires first.
