I'm not too worried about Ballard. His track record speaks for itself. He can find talent. He gets how to build teams.

I'm worried about Irsay doing dumb shit, though, like forcing Pagano on Ballard (it should have been Toub from day one), shutting down any Kaepernick pursuits or just having ill-conceived notions from on high without a Polian around to check him.

This team really does need someone who functions to take football decisions out of Irsay's hands entirely.
