How to characterize the first half? The Sum of all fears.
You had the obligatory coaching boner- failure to challenge.
Defensively it was the Dallas pre season game all over, except we were
playing last years last ranked offense. Spotty run defense, no pass
rush, can't cover an aging sick mule on the way to the glue factory.
Offensively, Tolzein is the limited, pedestrian QB we thought he was
and our vaunted WR corps can't get separation. On a positive note the O
line played better than I thought it would and the tandem of Gore and Mack looked good. BTW, why would you not keep trying to get to mack in the flat?
It's code blue.

Honestly, has it come to the point where these mistakes that are so inexplicable are so commonplace and expected so that they don't create any outrage anymore?

When everyone asked Luck what's it like following in the footsteps of Manning, who knew they really meant Archie.

Guy is never going to sniff another meaningful playoff game the rest of his career at this rate.

Last 5 season openers combined the Rams scored 33 points

Almost got there with 27 in one half against the Colts.

When you have such a poorly coached team with poor ownership and direction at the top, that doesn't pay attention to details or stay on the ball, it rubs off on everyone, even the good players.

Think of how good Luck, Vontae, TY etc. would be if they ever had real coaching in this league.

Someone please sell me on what good qualities Chuck Pagano has as a head coach.
