Unless major changes are made....Jacksonville is going to overtake us and I won't be surprised if the Texans get a lot better and the Colts finish 4th next season and maybe we have to get use to that?

Jags for sure. Watching the Cowgirls vs. Jags and Lawrence is becoming a damn good qb. Contrary to what Dam thinks. He is going to be a pain in our ass for a long time.

Nearly fumbled away the game, should've thrown a game losing INT, and only shows up when his team is down by 20+, but we should be afraid of this guy becoming a franchise QB? Let me know when he can read a defense or throw a receiver open.

Since Week 9, Lawrence has completed 76.8% of his passes (83-of-108) for 815 yards and six touchdowns with zero interceptions. He's getting better and had shit for brains as his coach last year. Every QB on the planet throws interceptions, even Mahomes had 3 in one game the other day.

I know you didn't like Lawrence coming out of college, and liked Jones more, but what has your boy Mac Jones done? I bet that any GM in the NFL would take Lawrence over Jones today and it's not even close.

Jones hasn't exactly been developed well by Belicheat (not as bad as the trainwreck the Jets have done to Zach Wilson, but also not exactly a supportive environment provided). I'd like to see what he can do with someone who puts him as their definite QB1 and doesn't play Belicheat's mind games. I think he'd honestly be a lot farther along if Belicheat was developing him in the same way he developed Brady, overusing the short passing game to boost his numbers and confidence.

I watched quite a bit of that Dallas game, because it alarmed me that Lawrence had that good of numbers (I don't want him to develop primarily because he's the starting QB of an AFC South rival), but I walked away unimpressed and not concerned. Most of his success came on broken plays where he used his athleticism to bail him out or half field reads. He still struggles to read defenses and can't throw receivers open. He can athleticism them open at times, but not throw them open. That could be good enough to win a lot of games and maybe even make a deep playoff run or two, but it's probably not winning a championship. Bear in mind, however, that you could likely find two game stretches of similar production on the resumes of Blake Bortles and Gardner Minshew just for that franchise alone.
