I think right now, there is nothing an interim coach can do for the Xs and Os. We need someone who can keep this team together emotionally. I think Saturday is as good a choice to do that as anyone.

I just wonder who is running the offense now? After firing the OC and then firing the HC who was acting as an OC, who's left?

Like you said, he cant fix the Xs and Os, but just usher the team to the end of the season. But that doesnt really have to include wins. I would assume everyone in their right mind knows this is a lost year.
