I don't think it is that machiavellian of a plot. This stuff happened against the Packers too. It was really blatant at times. I think it is simply they want to make sure the money-making star QB teams make it into the playoffs. And the Colts are not that right now.
But the block in the back, the non PI calls, etc. They kept that team moving along.
The holds were not called on both teams. They captured some obvious ones the Colts were making. But they were grabbing and tackling our dline at times too.
