The defense has stayed home for at least one half pretty much all season. They are extremely overrated and were eventually going to get burned in the 2nd half in a game. Looks like today is going to be that day. We've forced one punt today and that was on the Texans first possession. I still don't quite understand how the Texans have only 20 points this late in the game. They've done whatever they've wanted on offense since the 1st quarter.

o

2 times in the first half, the defense made stops. 1 punt and the fumble that they forced came on 3rd down ...... so even if the Texans had recovered the fumble, they would have been punting on 4th and long.

That's 2 stops, including 1 punt and a forced fumble on 3rd down ...... whatever truths that your posts contain are overshadowed by your extremely annoying agenda.

And there's the drive killing penalty during the game's most crucial drive.

We got up 14-0 and have spent the rest of the game trying our damndest to piss it away and it looks we're going to succeed.

I'm really glad that we got a TD right there instead of a field goal ...... I'm really glad that this team has won more often than it has lost ...... I'm really glad that this is more of a complete team than one that is extremely quarterback-reliant ...... but I must say, they almost always make me nervous as hell every time that they play.

The defense did good job of making tackles in bounds on that final drive to limit the Texans' choices ...... in fact, I think that they got screwed by the refs on one play on that final drive when they ruled the Texans player out of bounds when he was down in bounds.

So yes, we are very fortunate that the Texans fumbled at the two yard-line at the end of the game for the 2nd time this season ...... but the defense also did a relatively good job inside the red zone today. The Texans made 4 trips inside the red zone and came away with 2 Field Goals, 1 Touchdown, and 1 fumble.

Also, the Texans had no timeouts left on that final play. Even if the runner had not fumbled, the clock would have been running, and the Texans might have had a chance to spike the ball and get one more play off before the clock ran out. I think that the chances that they would have scored a TD had the runner not fumbled would have been about 50/50.
