I think that the refs just muffed a rule in regard to the clock.

In the last 5 minutes of a half, the clock is supposed to stay stopped after a player goes out of bounds. They stopped the clock after the tackle, and then started the clock after the ball was placed.

If they ruled him out of bounds, the clock should have stayed stopped ...... and if they ruled him in bounds, the clock never should have stopped in the fist place.

Isn't the rule within the last two minutes of the first half, and the last five minutes in the second half?
