Not a top-5 OLT ever year.

Top-10 / Top-15 but not top 5. He is very good and I am glad he is back for at least 2 more years. But he is not a Joe Thomas type top LT every year.

That said, my hope is that out 2nd round picks this year would still be WR and OT with as TE in the 3rd round.

Long term QB can be gotten next season after signing a vet to a 1-year deal in 2021 (Maj Rivers if he performs well this year which I suspect he will.)

DT depth, O-Line depth, Safety depth and WR depth round out my wish list for the draft.

He was great no matter how long Andrew held the ball.

I thikn he averaged about 2.9 seconds which put him at 38th in the league. So there were backups that got the ball out faster.

Rivers was top five last year with about 2.2 I think.

Pep Hamilton and the 7 step drop. I sat in the end zone against the patriots where he had Andrew luck throw the ball every single down in the second half and it was a train wreck everybody in the stands knew what was coming.

It was painful to watch.

That was a scheme and personnel problem. Our personnel couldn't fulfill the scheme. Bad coaching, you adjust your scheme to fit the capabilities of the roster IMO. I bet that system would work with our current line. Plus if you GM sucks at acquiring talent, not much is gonna work.

But this time it was a QB problem. We don't have the best WR's but the scheme was getting guys open. JB just wouldn't pull the trigger. Rivers will do that, but we will have more interceptions also. We improve our WR's we should see a better offense with Rivers. This will also improve the defense because they should get more rest in between series.

The biggest mistake I think of that whole Grigson/Pagano era was letting Tom Telesco go. He should have been the GM instead of Grigson. I don't understand why they didn't promote him, Grigson was a rookie GM also with half the track record and Tom had a ton of experience under one of the best GM's in the game. Since then he has had a probowler or all pro in every draft he has done except one. I think he was the brains behind that 2012 draft. BC after that Grigson just went straight to shit.
