I actually think that this is a pretty good football team ...... remember, they beat the Ravens on their homefield in Baltimore, and they were robbed of a win against the Browns by the referees.

The combination of bad discipline by the offense (illegal motion penalties) and injuries to several key defensive backs have been weighing them down in these last 2 games against the Saints and the Panthers.

If we can muddle through with a win over the Patriots next week, a bye will be just what the doctor ordered (literally AND figuratively) for this beat-up, struggling team.
