I agree, it was time to cut him loose. I believe it's all mental with this kid. He overthinks everything. Unlike the Canadian superstar to be MV, who thought he could make every kick whether or not he was really concentrating on his job or not.

Vinny was a better athlete than most kickers not named Hunter. He played in NFL europe, before NE. Playing in NE didnt give him as many opportunities to kick long FG due to the lousy weather that affects most AFC east teams. Playing in a dome or decent weather for AFC south teams made for better stats.

Adam V had focus from years of working up from the bottom to get to the top. He was not the best kicker early, he was fortunate his coach had patience.
