Thinking of this game when I saw the title, I expected it to be blank.

Quenton Nelson Gets Brutally Frank About the Colts' Run-Game Struggles vs. the Steelers

(By Clark Garret Alvarez)

https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/co...061003950.html

Indianapolis Colts guard Quenton Nelson admitted that the team's rushing attack needs significant improvement following Sunday's 34-22 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Colts managed just 66 rushing yards, and averaged 2.8 YPC in the defeat.

The disappointing performance raised concerns about Indianapolis's ability to establish a consistent ground game. Running back Jonathan Taylor, who previously discussed his future with the Colts, struggled to find space against Pittsburgh's defense.

"I feel like we're capable of so much more than what we have been doing," Nelson said in a post-game interview shared by WISH-TV on X ...... his assessment reflected the frustration surrounding an offense that struggled to generate consistent rushing production.

Taylor finished with 45 yards on 15 carries, averaging just 3 YPC. His longest run was 20 yards, meaning that his other 14 attempts totaled just 25 yards.

The lack of rushing production placed additional pressure on quarterback Daniel Jones, who attempted 44 passes against Pittsburgh. Indianapolis struggled to establish the offensive balance needed to keep the Steelers' defense guessing.

The performance also highlighted broader concerns for a Colts team that previously faced questions about its shortcomings following a loss to Kansas City ...... improving consistency remains important, as Indianapolis tries to recover from another defeat.

Tight end Tyler Warren scored the Colts' only TD on a one-yard run, while kicker Spencer Shrader converted 5 field goals. Indianapolis moved the ball at times, but struggled to finish drives with TD's.

The loss dropped the Colts to 2-3 overall, heightening Nelson's concerns about the rushing attack ...... for Indianapolis, improving its ground game could be crucial to avoiding another frustrating result.
