Will he comeback as the WR coach or even something higher?
My opinion and answer NO!! He came in the first place for Frank constantly bugging him. Reggie is not coaching material and he admits it. He would rather be fishing on his boat in Florida. So hope nobody gets upset if he doesn't return. I will be pissed, but I also know he only came to the Colts for Reich. Who knows from here. But he did one hell of a job with WRs........... |

Reggie remarks and statements do people forget them?
And this is what pulled him back, after four years of phone calls from Frank Reich, the Colts head coach who long sought to add Wayne, the franchise’s all-time leader in games played, to his staff. “No,” Wayne had told Reich, over and over, never feeling enough of an urge to jump into coaching full-time. “We’re all gonna be horizontal at some point,” Wayne explained. “My expiration date is gonna come, and I feel like what’s the purpose if I’m deceased and I ain’t give anyone my knowledge?” He knew the phone calls would stop at some point, that Reich would move on and find someone else to lead his wide receivers. So this time, Wayne listened. The first call came in early February, after the Colts’ receivers coach the last two seasons, Mike Groh, left for the same post with the Giants. Reich tossed out the idea: what would it take to get you back to Indianapolis? This time, instead of a quick “No,” Wayne mulled it over. And the more he did, the more he realized the time was right. His three kids are older, and the beach, as he put it, “ain’t going anywhere.” |

Just up late smoking some grass and relaxing and thought I'd check the board and...who the fuck is ColtsBlue? That account was created on 10/30 and has posted 4 threads already. Three of them are polls, and this thread about Reggie Wayne and he's just talking to himself here until I saw it. Wtf? I've been here for years and I rarely start a thread. I'm all for new members, but keep an eye on this one. Sus as the kids say.

Well regardless of the nature of the post, as to the question.
I think Reggie comes back. I heard on one of the shows the other day he was obviously disappointed in Frank being let go, but at the same time he said that if he were in Saturday's shoes, he absolutely takes the job. He made the exact comment that you never know when they will stop asking so you have to take that chance. He has a great group to work with and I think, given the above statement, he may now have the desire to keep working up the ranks. One of my, and many many others, all time favorites, and would love to see him grow into a HC somewhere down the road. |
