Well, Chargers took Slater like we all thought. Never figured he would be available for us anyway. Great pick for the Chargers.

Mac Jones would have been there for the 49ers at No. 12. They could've had Jones and kept their first-round picks the next two years. If it's true that they thought it was close between Lance and Jones, they may be feeling some regret about that trade.
