Damn, it's always something. Depending on what it is, a jacked up thumb could easily stick him in a full forearm cast for a couple months. If not surgery/IR.

Of course I'm going there because why else would it make news unless it was the worst fucking possible scenario imaginable for this team?

That's what I am thinking too. Let's beat around the bush for as long as we can, then season IR.

Given he still played and played well in the 2nd half after th einjury happended in first half; I wonder if just some TLC and conservative treatment like immobilize the digit until game time may be enough rather than surgery and IR for Gawd´s sake.

Source says no decision on Injured Reserve yet.

It’s possible and will be decided later this week.

At least it wasn't broken requiring a cast. I guess they're going to wait to see what the playoff picture looks like after TEN, CIN, and PIT before deciding when/if he's coming back. Maybe?
