You can read the entire article if you'd like ...... I'm just going to highlight the Colts' player. Executives, Coaches, Scouts Rank Top NFL Running Backs for 2026 (By Jeremy Fowler) https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/...coaches-scouts 5) l Jonathan Taylor, Indianapolis Colts Highest Ranking: lllllllllllllll. 2 Lowest Ranking: llllllllllllllllllt Unranked Last Year's Ranking: llllt 7 Age: llllll 27 Taylor was pumping out top-3 votes this year in appreciation of a stellar 6-year campaign, despite shaky quarterback play around him. He appeared on all but one of the ballots, and nearly 30% of his votes were within the top-3. Taylor has 69 career rushing TD's ...... only Derrick Henry (84) has more since 2020. "He's really special in space," an NFL coordinator said. "Once he hits the 2nd and 3rd levels with some space to operate, he's uniquely talented." That showed in 2025, when Taylor's f4 rushes of 40-or-more yards trailed only Jahmyr Gibbs. The presence of Daniel Jones has helped Taylor, both in play-action and in the passing game ...... Taylor caught a career-high 46 passes last season. o

You can read the entire article if you'd like ...... I'm just going to highlight the running back section, which applies to the Colts. 2026 NFL Season: Ranking the Best, Worst Positional Groups (By Mike Clay) https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/...acks-receivers Running Back Best: l Indianapolis Colts This is a close one here, but Jonathan Taylor gets the nod ...... he's one of the league's best backs, and he handles a massive bulk of the team's touches. Taylor had a terrific 2025 campaign in which he led the NFL in carries (323) and TD's (18), while also finishing 3rd in rushing yardage (1,585.) Once a minimal part of the Colts' passing game, Taylor also ranked in the top-10 among running backs in routes, targets, catches, and receiving yards, setting career highs in each category. This all happened despite a big dip in production after quarterback Daniel Jones was injured in Week 14. Shakiest: l Jacksonville Jaguars There's upside here, but this group is unproven. With Travis Etienne Jr. gone, 2025 Day 2 picks Bhayshul Tuten and LeQuint Allen Jr. will team up with journeyman Chris Rodriguez Jr. to form a 3-headed committee. Tuten made some highlight plays as a rookie, but he was limited to 83 carries and 14 targets. Rodriguez has been effective as a rusher (career 4.6 YPC), but the sample is small (198 carries), and he's not a receiving option (6 career catches.) Expect Allen (23 carries, 11 targets as a rookie) to see occasional work in passing situations. Unit to Watch: l Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III signed with the Chiefs and Zach Charbonnet tore his ACL in January, leaving Seattle's backfield with a much different look in 2026. Rookie Jadarian Price ...... the final pick of the 1st round ...... could emerge as a breakout, but he's obviously an unknown and has minimal experience as a pass-catcher. Holdover George Holani and journeyman Emanuel Wilson will battle for reps until Charbonnet makes his return. o
