The combination of Brissett having a cannon of an arm
AND Luck still having recently come off of shoulder surgery which caused him to miss missing more than a full year of games (and subsequent rehab and recovery) made Reich's decision of putting Brissett in for the final Hail Mary play a no-brainer.
It wasn't a matter of Luck not being able to do it if he had to, it was a matter of it not being worth the risk of straining his shoulder when you have a guy on the bench who can easily throw the ball a good 70 yards-plus.
