I can't name a single defensive player that I would have given that much for. Can anyone?

There have been several players traded for multiple 1st Round Draft Picks recently.

It really boils down to where you think the First Round Picks will end up in the draft. If both of the draft picks end up in the later half of the First Round, it isn't as big of a deal. But if one of the draft picks goes higher, it makes the trade look horrible.

Personally, I would have preferred to place some conditions on the draft picks. For example, I would have added a condition that if either of the draft picks went in the top 16...then the Jets would need to send back a Day 2 Draft Pick of that same draft in return to help balance out the draft capital.

Here is the list of players from the more recent trades:

Maxx Crosby - trade was agreed to and announced, but later cancelled due to Crosby failing his physical
Sauce Gardner
Micah Parsons
Deshaun Watson - trade involved 3 First Round Draft Picks
Russell Wilson
Matthew Stafford
Jamal Adams
Jalen Ramsey
Laremy Tunsil
Khalil Mack

Then there is a gap of about 10 years between the Mack trade and the previous one.
