Anyway, my take on some of the discussion:
Things look pretty bleak, but there is time to turn things around (although if we manage to lose today then all bets are off). Something one of my friends I was traveling with pointed out is that our game at Pitt is the first time the league has scheduled an away game for a team the week following an international game (all others have either been a bye or home game). Not that this should completely excuse the shit show performance, but it's probably a factor.
On Ballard - it's pretty obvious that he's a bellow average GM who looked better than he was early on b/c he replaced someone who was completely incompetent. He did hit some HRs in his 2018 and 2020 drafts, but he really hasn't added anyone elite since drafting JT. The Sauce trade has proven to be a complete disaster and considering how much we gave up is probably worse than Grig's TRich trade.
On Jones - I'm sure part of it is he's still recovering from the injuries, but he's also appears to have regressed a lot back to his old NYG play. VERY loose w/ the ball, which leads to a high fumble rate. Panicking when the D brings pressure and throwing the ball up for grabs. Hope he reverses this trend, but I have my doubts.
On our D- they're a complete shit show. WTF is Lou playing Latu so much at LDE? Is it b/c JTT is just that bad at strong side run D, so he needs to be at RDE? Also, where the hell is Allen at? Or is he just another Ballard 2nd round bust?

I agree with everything except the Sauce trade. It was an overpay but looks worse because of the state of the team. At the time it appeared worth the risk IMO. The main difference being that Sauce is a good football player that will be part of the future. He’s also at a premium position. Trent was a bad football player at a devalued position. At the time of the Sauce trade it made sense. Trent was a much worse trade IMO.
On DJ we started seeing the issue last season before he got hurt. Sadly I think it just who he is.
