I disagree. We actually will gain something by starting him: absolute confirmation of whether he can play or not, a clearer direction for the front office, and a better draft position if things go south.
You say we will gain nothing from playing AR—I say we have absolutely nothing of value left to lose this season anyway. Might as well find out exactly what we have before the draft.
Side note: the defense is garbage too.
