They should just start the purge. Fire Ballard, Steichen, Lou right now- there is ZERO advantage to keeping any of the three any longer than 6 PM this evening- we are a lame duck org at this point, it's not like we need to hold on to some false hope that we can be something yet this year- we can't and ignoring that as a leader / owner is dumb.
This week before the deadline move anyone and everyone that you can short of Downs, Warren, Haulcy and of course Pierece (who if he wasn't injured- move him as well). Just go all the way to the ashes and start from there. Get a whole new GM and coaching tandem, a ton of fresh young players, and just start building from the ground up. Our negotiating power is weak, but it isn't nil, Q, TJ, Buck can get some return, Latu isn't great but he's a 1st round pass rusher. Fuck a couple teams would probably even be willing to give us a candy bar for Dimes.
Just make the moves and start stockpilng picks, we have to add young assets and build from them, what we have now is a mismatched mess of shit and there is absolutely zero directional momentum- GET THIS SHIT OVERWITH!
Start with the goal in mind- the # 1 pick in 2028 draft and getting a fucking QB.
