I think that's it's too early to completely give up on Anthony Richardson, also. But Daniel Jones, prior to breaking his left fibula, was one of the best 5 quarterbacks in the NFL, much better than Richardson was in his tenure as the Colts' starting quarterback ...... so keeping Richardson around as a 2nd-stringer or trading him to a team which needs a starting quarterback in order to see if he can evolve in to as a solid NFL quarterback are both good ideas.
Incidentally, while many have teased Richardson about his latest injury, it was not his fault at all ...... it was a freak accident during pregame warm-ups when a resistance band snapped and struck him in the face, breaking his orbital bone ...... it was extremely unlucky equipment failure, not player error/failure/lack of durability.
If Richardson gets traded to another team and is said new team's starting quarterback, I'll be rooting for him all of the time except when his new team is playing against the Colts.
