I will admit to being very dense about this but almost everyone says that since we gave up two ones for Sauce it means we are out of the QB market. It implies that with those two first rounders we would be 'in' the market. I don't see it. Drafting a QB after the first few picks and you are in crap shoot territory. Those 2 picks will not even close to enough for us to sniff the top 5, how on earth were they going to get us a franchise QB? We actually had the number 4 pick and apparently felt it was to expensive to move up to get the QB of choice (unless you believe all along it was AR which brings with it all sorts of issues on how Ballard etc evaluate the position). I am not saying we now looking for a new QB, just that two middle first rounders would just be the beginnings of what we would need to give for a QB and this regime has shown no indication it is willing to do that over the last 9 years.
