I said that the Colts needed to win 4 out of their 7 remaining games before the Chiefs game ...... now that they lost to the Chiefs, they need to win 4 out of the last 6. And with 4 of those games being against the Texans and the Jaguars, they will either show that they are for real or they will wilt under the pressure.
If all 3 teams in the AFC South collapse down the stretch and the Colts back into the division title with a record of 10-7, then they aren't going anywhere in the playoffs anyway. If the Colts take care of business and win 4 out of their last 6 games to finish at 12-5, they will easily take the AFC South and likely have one of the top-2 seeds in the AFC.

I originally said that the Colts needed to win 4 out of their final 7 games to win the division and head into the playoffs as bona-fide contenders for an AFC Championship and a trip to the Super Bowl for the first time since 2009.
Then they lost to the Chiefs, so 4-out-of-7 became 4-out-of-6.
Then they lost to the Texans, so 4-out-of-6 has become 4-out-of-5.
Our beloved Colts are running out of affordable losses ...... they still can prove that they are a bona-fide contender to make a deep playoff run, but their sense of urgency has increased exponentially since their win over the Falcons 3 games ago.
