Fun to read the responses. My favorite is this quote from NFL.com's Gregg Rosenthal:

"When me, you and @ChrisWesseling are all falling for a 2-5 team, something special is going on"

A lot of smart football people are high on the Colts rebuild. This is from a recent Matt Miller article on what other scouts are saying about fixing teams with the worst records:

After a slow start to the season, Andrew Luck looks like his old self again. He's strung together four straight games with at least three touchdown passes and currently sits second in the NFL with 20 TDs.

Luck has done all of that with a rag-tag group at wide receiver and an offensive line that's improving but is still a work in progress. The Colts have a blue-chip quarterback again, which is where the fix starts.

General manager Chris Ballard and his scouts must now stock the roster with skill players and defensive stars like the gem they found in the 2018 draft, second-round linebacker Darius Leonard. With Leonard and 2017 first-rounder Malik Hooker, Ballard has two players around whom he can form his defense.

The Colts are unlikely to lose enough games to land Bosa from Ohio State, but players like Ed Oliver (Houston) and Devin White (LSU) are instant-impact defenders who are possibilities in the top five.

Ballard, head coach Frank Reich and Luck form a trio that should give Colts fans hope for the future. The key is being patient enough to get through 2018 while watching young stars like Leonard, Hooker and Quenton Nelson develop into stars.

Yep, not happening. Colts have a positive point differential. They're better than their record.

I live in both the Philly and NY markets and I've seen/heard alot of Philly fans note that Reich deserves the bulk of the credit on last year's offensive accomplishment. Pedersen was calling the plays but Reich is recognized as the architect and creative genius of the design. I read an article shortly after the superbowl that spoke to their process and every week Frank would bring some new and innovative idea for Pedersen to consider....he was always tinkering and innovating.

Don't know now that he's the Head Coach whether he has time for that same approach but I gotta wonder if next year when he has a line that's a cohesive working unit, a QB that's all the way back, and some new toys in the skill positions whether he takes his current plan to another level. It's fun to think about what's possible :o

This year is so much more fun than last year.

Just about anyone was going to be an upgrade over Pagano, but Reich does seem like more than that.
