My heart bleeds for the Jaguars.

The schedule’makers took 2 of their home games and moved them to London, leaving the with 6 in Jacksonville, 2 in London, and 9 on the road,

In addition, they actually gave them decent opponents in Houston and Philadelphia.

No need to worry about that team...the Jags actually requested this to happen to accommodate stadium renovations.

They will have a reduced seating capacity for this upcoming season...so they wanted to have a second international game this year.

The back-to-back international games will also allow more heavy duty construction to take place in that 2+ week window since there will be no fans on site for a game.

For whatever reason, less games at home is a bad thing if you’re trying to win.

The other option that they considered was to have ZERO games in Jacksonville next season. That was their initial proposal - ZERO games in Jax for two straight seasons.

This was the compromise...this upcoming season will still be in Jax with a reduced seating capacity (~37% fewer seats) AND two international games. The international games will help with revenue because they are going to take a major hit with every game they host in Jax.

Then the following season, there will be NO games in Jax...they will play in Orlando instead at Camping World Stadium (formerly known as the Citrus Bowl)
