***The Official Chiefs BBQ The Colts Gameday Thread***

Have at it, freaks.

The Chiefs will shut JT down and harass Jones until he literally wets his pants on the field.

34-17 Chiefs.

Without Buckner, the Chiefs will have a strong running attack. Colts will stay close, but won't beat the Chiefs and the refs combined.

Low scoring slugfest with Colts defensive backfield causing all kinds of problems moving the ball.

Colts 17-14

The Chiefs defense has two pretty glaring weaknesses that play into the Colts' strengths: they don't defend the run well and they don't defend TEs well in the passing game. The Chiefs offense likes to play a ball control style that is heavily reliant on the short passing game due to their lack of success running the ball. The Colts defense may be the best equipped in the league to take the short passing game away from them with Sauce, Ward, and Moore at CB.

I say all of this to say I am cautiously optimistic about this game, as has been the case throughout most of the season.

I can't determine if the Chiefs are really down or just not focused....I mean they are 6-5 but considered the best team by many so-called experts! I feel like being at home after a loss, they should be very focused, so I think this game will answer the question, are they really losing their edge or just not taking this season serious yet!

I think it is the latter and we get stomped today! Chiefs 31 Colts 17

Coats don not step on their own dicks in seasonably warm Arrowhead Stadium and win 29-20.

The key is as always in any NFL game, keep the TO's to 1 or less and the penalties to 5 or less.

Getting ahead of myself......:D

I do want to say I hope I am wrong and the Chiefs really are losing their edge, the Colts have an opportunity to show they are for real today, we have a history of beating the Chiefs, even at their place!

Went and checked out some of the Chiefs forums and their fans for the most part are really down on their team. Most are picking us to win and are shocked that they are favored. I guess that is what happens to your fan base when you win all the time and suddenly have a rough start to a season?
