Jonathan Taylor, 2025 Season
o
(Yards After Contact) I don't know what his statistics say, but this guy has been incredible in the yards-after-contact category ...... every time you think that he's bottled up for a very short gain, he keeps on running and manages to wiggle out of the grasp of the defenders that have their hands and arms on him for a few additional yards. o |

He's the opposite of Trent Richardson. TR would turn a 5 yard gain into a 1 yard loss, JT does just the opposite.

Jonathan Taylor
Really stoked for the season he's had so far.
5 RBs have 2x3TD games in a single season: Joe Morris (Giants) in 1985 |

Spectacular plays are great ...... but what sometimes falls under the radar are the little things, like turning a 1-yard loss into a 4-yard gain ...... plays like that won't make the highlight reels on Sportscenter, but they add up over the course of a game and the course of a season ...... somewhat similar to a boxer who lands a lot of body punches in the early and middle rounds, and then winds up getting a TKO victory largely because of those body punches. o |
